i love the newspaper y’all

I find this website to be a little bit on the useless side. As a student i frequently read the roosevelt news for a good chuckle every now and then though they do not seem to be the most professional of new teams I understand writing a paper is tough though the dates between the issues seem to be far to prolonged. The articles can range from dry and uninteresting to out right boring enough to make me want to toss the paper into the nearest recylcing bin. Their articals seem to be hit and miss and at time i look at who wrote the article to determine whether it is worth reading or not. Some writers are continously good and continue to impress me with their writing and journalistic skilles though i wonder about others. it feel like maybe the staff lost a bet and had been forced to adopt a writer for the sake of having them as a gimmick or just to make their good writers look outstanding in comparison. The subject matter of the paper seems to be mostly school happenings though even these seem dry and boring and just not interesting to read at all. some writers have skills to do good thingsi n the future and become legitimate journalists to others i would say “don’t quit your day job,” this would be kind of a silly thing to say though. I’m talking to highschool kids at roosevelt so most of them have probly not worked a day in their lives. Maybe these people need to get out more maybe that is it, they must see the world and learn how to write to please the people. That would probably be best for them if they ever want to be real journalists. commenting on the website i think its convinient to have an outlet in which to read the roosevelt news paper though i also think its kind of unecessary to have an online media outlet for something that is still evolving and maturing. I don’t know if the roosevelt news will ever completely mature as it is written by highschool students, though i can hope. I think the website is not needed at this point. I see students in the hallways everytime a new issue is released and their hands posses the school paper but i don’t think it means much/ I don’t think anyone could ever et excited about the roosevelt news. i can’t see the future filled with students say “i can’t wait to read the new issue” i just don’t see it happening. I always wished i could be on the staff though i don’t think i will ever make it into that cliche. then again i feel like im not missing much. Once again i feel this website is unecessary for the school newspaper since the studnets seem to not care that much about the news i can’t see anyone outside the news caring either…

the paper is doing great this year but watch out for missing headlines and tell what words should be in the word search so people can actually find them!
